FREE Two-Day “Click To Prosper” IT Workshop to Help Mablethorpe Businesses

Businesses of any type in Mablethorpe and surrounding areas are invited to start a free two-day programme helping them explore what IT and the web could do for them.

The ‘Click to Prosper’ course is part of a pilot scheme, the Greater Lincolnshire Coastal Business Development Programme, which is funded by the Coastal Communities Fund and the county council. It takes place on Thursday 27 March and Thursday 3 April at The Coastal Centre in Mablethorpe.

‘Click to Prosper’ helps participating firms by showing them how IT and the web could be used in their business.

Firms then take part in a one-two-one diagnostic to help them apply the theory to their business.

Finally, firms can also access grant funding to make their ideas reality.

The programme runs along the coast, from Cleethorpes to Boston, and businesses have already benefited from courses held in Skegness and Alford

Colin Parker of Greystones guest house, Skegness, said:

“I found the ‘Click to Prosper’ course really useful. It particularly showed the importance of social media and the growth of mobile web use for businesses – and how we can use these effectively ourselves.

“I found the course so useful, I recommended it to my sister, who also runs a B&B in Skegness!”
