About Brian

A lifetime in music. From early days playing the piano to three years in the 4th Queen`s Own Hussars military band in Germany playing clarinet and piano. After demob the long hard road of the professional musician started – from humble workingmens clubs to a residency in Bermuda with the Geraldo London Orchestra. Later as a bandleader for Mecca dancing in Birmingham and a one time member of the John Barry Seven. In 1982 appeared for Yamaha  in Hamburg for the annual competitions they held worldwide. Appeared on `Opportunity Knocks` in 1972 playing a Lowrey organ kindly loaned by Jerry Allen.

A 12 year residency as Musical Director in Sutton Coldfield where many famous stars appeared. Many records, cassettes and CD`s have been made for the Grosvenor label. Also most of the organ societies have been visited for concerts. Musical Director for Roy Neal in the early days of Caister.

After many years of playing Wersi organs he now plays the Tyros 4 + pedals + Bose L1 compact.  This is the setup now used on concerts and the audiences really enjoy his unique presentation and musicianship. If any club has a good piano I would be happy to play classical, ragtime and jazz.

After such a busy life playing ,decided to study in the early 1990`s and achieved  the qualifications GLSM, ALCM. LLCM.
