Lincolnshire County Council are doing a Road Speed Management Review in Mablethorpe.
They are collecting residents views and opinions on forms, which can be collected from either the Coastal Centre or The Library Town Office.
Please return the survey by 9th February 2014 either by completing the online form, which can be found at this link - Speed Management Review Survey - or by returning a paper copy.
The Road Speed review will cover the whole of Lincolnshire and, depending on the results, alternative speed limits may be imposed in towns and villages.
There is a pressure group called ’20 is Plenty’ and they are pressing for the speed limit to be reduced to 20 miles an hour in all built up areas. Perhaps some people agree.
Councillor Anne Reynolds says that she can see the need for reduced speed in some streets. such as Victoria and Seacroft Roads and George Street. Perhaps there are other roads that residents feel should also have a reduced limit imposed.
Maybe some people feel that the current speed limits should stay as they are.
This review gives everyone the chance to air their views and have some say.
Anyone wishing to participate, please collect a form or complete one on-line.
