Now is the time to make sure you are registered and able to vote in future elections by responding to East Lindsey District Council’s electoral registration process.
All households in East Lindsey should now have received an electoral registration form which must be acted upon as there is a legal requirement for all residents to respond to this registration.
Already, over 44,700 East Lindsey residents have responded, but there are still over 21,700 who have not. Failing to respond could mean that you are unable to vote in future elections.
The Council’s Chief Executive and Returning Officer, Stuart Davy, said: “It is important that all residents respond to this registration. Even if all of the details are correct, you must respond to let us know that. Thank you to all of those who have already responded.”
If you have not received a registration form it is important that you contact the Council on to request one.
If there are no changes to the information printed on the form, or the only change is to indicate those who do not wish to appear on the edited register, you can respond by phone or online at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk.
If there are no changes at all to the information you can also respond using the SMS response service. Details of these services will be included with your registration document.
If changes need to be made to the details printed on the form, you need to fill in the correct details and return the form to the Council.
